You've got to try this Noatmeal! You can mix up the dry ingredients ahead of time so you just have to scoop it out and add your liquids. A great way to start the day! Full of fiber and plant based protein and loaded with nutrients!
I adapted this recipe from Wholesome Yum's recipe for noatmeal.
There are so many ways to change this up, but I always start with my basic recipe and go from there depending on my mood.
I really like to add a teaspoon of cinnamon and a little dollop of sugar free jam my aunt made me for Christmas (those are my fav kind of gifts!). And, cinnamon is great for helping regulate blood sugars, which is really important for me, and let's be honest, it's really important for EVERYONE!
Sometimes I do a dollop of almond butter, you can add a sprinkle of cacao powder to that as well! Or even coconut and cacao nibs, so many options. I personally try not to do any sweetener.
It's such a simple recipe, put all your dry ingredients in a small pan, here I went ahead and added my cinnamon.
Then add in your coconut milk, stir well and bring to a simmer until it thickens, then top with whatever sounds good to you and enjoy!
This is a great way to get in a daily dose of hemp, flax, chia, collagen and cinnamon. All of these ingredients have wonderful benefits for the body.
Between all the ingredients you get antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, omega 3's and 6, anti-inflammatory properties and more .
I try to incorporate hemp, flax and chia in my diet daily, so this knocks them all out in one easy recipe!
