This crema is so good, on so many things! It also happens to be a very tasty way of getting some healthy fat in too!
We use this on tacos, mash bowls or cauli rice bowls, just mix some in with some spaghetti squash and veggies. Neely (who is not on any specific nutrition plan) used it in place of butter on a grilled cheese and said it was amazing. I'm not supposed to do more than a couple eggs a week and since this already has an egg in it I don't really want to do anymore, but I bet this would be really good with some eggs and veggies!
It just bring so much flavor and is complementary to a variety of flavors, especially veggies and meat I feel like.
Another great thing about this recipe is how easy and fast it comes together. Mix it all up in a wide mouth mason jar, or tonight I reused a roasted red pepper jar because it was big enough and the opening was wide enough to accommodate the immersion blender, which is essential.
